Brittany Murphy’s career is in a downward spiral!
The once promising young actress has not starred in a hit film since 2005’s Sin City, a movie in which she was just a featured player.
Murphy has never been the lead in a box office success, and these days, industry insiders comment more on her erratic behavior and crazy husband than her career (or lack of one).
Adding insult to injury, Disney has just axed Brittany from their deal with her!
Back in 2006, the Mouse House announced that Murphy would be their new voice of Tinkerbell. They planned to use her for work on new Tink DVDs and much more.
Well, this past week, Disney revealed that Brittany was out and there would be a new voice for Tinkerbell, actress Mae Whitman.
No explanation was given for Murphy’s “departure” - but, really, we don’t need one!

This is very shady!
Nina Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens flat-out lied to Sarah Jessica Parker.
The Sex & The City star wore his dress (above) to the New York premiere of the film this week and she and her stylist asked if anyone had ever wore the dress before and been photographed in it.
Theyskens assured Parker no on both accounts.
Well, he fucking lied - twice!
Throngs of paparazzi photographed Lindsay Lohan wearing that outfit a few months ago at a commercial shoot. And, making this even worse, socialite Lauren (Davis) Santo Domingo accompanied Olivier to the Met’s Costume Institute Gala in May and was also photographed wearing that dress.
Parker spoke to The New York Times about the dress fiasco.
She says:
“In the big picture, this is not important, but there is a relationship between the entertainment industry and fashion. We’ve watched sales dwindle and we’ve watched people be less inclined to spend money on clothes.”
To Parker, these are reasons for companies to take particular care with their relationships. “Look, my affection for the dress hasn’t changed,” she said, “but what they did was so short-sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.”
Parker says she remarked to Theyskens during the fitting that she was surprised the dress hadn’t been worn before. He assured her it hadn’t.
“He didn’t say, ‘Well, actually I just escorted Lauren down the red carpet at the Met.’ ” said Parker, adding, “I just wish it had been handled differently and they had been straight about it.”
Tisk tisk.
We’re on team SJPeePee on this one.
Shame on you Olivier Theyskens and everyone at Nina Ricci.
We have a feeling she’s not gonna be wearing any of your dresses ever again!

With a title like Love For A Child, you’d expect the song to be schmaltzy and cheesy.
But, Jason Mraz is able to make it sweet and sentimental.
His new album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., is like a fine wine - rich, robust and just gets better with each listen!
Enjoy the truly lovely Love For A Child below and then CLICK HERE to listen to more songs from Jason Mraz’s (once again) truly lovely new album.
Who says “easy listening” is a bad thing????
Not us!!!

As we told you she would, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has “postponed” her underselling summer concert tour.
The singer’s publicist has just released the following statement:
“After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour. She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.”
Considering how badly her new album is selling, don’t expect to Asslee on the road until well after her baby is born - a few years from now on her NEXT record!
