After Sigourney Weaver dropped hints about the new Ghostbusters sequel earlier this week, Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman has pitched in his two cents!

The working title for the sequel is G3, and Reitman says the film should be released at some point in 2010 (we’re assuming later than earlier).

Reitman also says that the story will “combine the original characters with new ones” including Bill Murray and Sigourney’s character’s son, Oscar.
